The two outstanding issues we were facing, finding a reliable painter and getting some concrete poured, were solved last week. Our new painting crew showed up on Saturday morning and got after it! Even on Sunday when we rolled by to shoot pictures for the blog update, our new painter and his friend were at work.

The painting crew was able to prime the upper 1BR and Tower villa, sand and paint most of the walls they could access and even get the final coat of paint on the cabinets in the Tower. The painting crew will be focused on painting the cabinet doors and begin applying the polyurethane to the custom mill work pieces this week.

Morgan and his team also finished with the tongue and groove ceiling in the upper 1BR villa this week.

The ceilings look fantastic!
We also received some long awaited tile and the crew finished off the stairs leading to the tower and will be finishing up the entryways this week.
While tile and painting progressed, we also did TWO pours of concrete this week. First, the team poured the southern pavilion of the pool and the rest of the pool deck. I shot these pictures from the balcony of poolside villa #2, so the perspective is a bit off. I promise to shoot actual pictures of the pool deck next week.
We also managed to finish pouring a retaining wall along the edge of the lap lane for the planter which will run the length of the lap lane.

This week should be quite productive, as we finish off ceilings, and bathroom tiling. The garden at our personal home is coming back nicely, with a new bloom of orchids, and a bunch of bananas and papaya's coming soon!

My dad also blew through St John and got to spend a little time with Cameron.
She also celebrated her BFF's 1 year old birthday on Sunday at Hawksnest!
Have a great week everyone!
