...in your weekly blog update. The last two weeks have been extraordinarily busy!
This past Sunday evening, at 9:35PM CST, we welcomed our first grand baby, Cameron Elaine Buttermore. 6lbs, 15 oz and 20 inches of why we are here on this Earth.

We could not be more thrilled at her arrival! She is beautiful, like her momma.

They look like twins![/caption]
One day before Cameron decided to join us in this big, wondrous world, our batch plant was also delivered!
There was no epidural involved in the batch plant delivery, but I sure needed a drink when it was over. Lori documented the whole thing in a series of videos. With our police escort, we had Center Line Road, the main thoroughfare across island, blocked for about 3.5 hours on a Saturday morning. Many people exited their vehicles and walked up to check out what was going on, and in typical island fashion, jumped in to help and provide their expert opinions on how to get this massive structure with 9" of clearance into its final resting place.
Our first attempt was short lived.

Now to dig out a furrow to see if we can make it happen.

Thought that would do the trick, but not quite...

Ok, now we need to figure out how to get enough clearance to get the last 1/3 of this bad boy into place!

Now that we have the clearance we need, the wires want to present one last obstacle.

With the final hurdle cleared, its just a matter of squeezing this beast of a machine into its final resting place.

With the batch plant now in place, we can transform the yard into a concrete plant that is far superior to any in the Caribbean and the mainland. The island has waited long enough for a quality product and supplier!

If you know St. John, you must marvel at the skill and cooperation it took of the entire community to get this incredible machine into place. You think its tough driving a jeep on these roads, imagine getting this thing up Supreme Corner!

Now that the batch plant is in place, we've been busy getting walls poured and figuring out the last bits that will get us to production soon!
